Sitting in the centre of the church steps is Mary Howell, who, for many years, was the Bridford Midwife and District Nurse. She is surrounded by some of the local children delivered by her and very happy they all look. A group of keen photographers got together to celebrate the Millenium by creating a photo album containing a picture of everyone who lived in the village of Bridford in 2000 - a great project  which turned out to be most successful - judging by the smiles throughout the completed Album!
