7519045 Staff Sergeant John Luxton Bolt of the 11th Field Ambulance the Royal Army Medical Corps.  Husband of Millicent Bolt of Hatherleigh. Born in Tavistock in the June Quarter of 1915. Died 4 October 1943 aged 28.
F.COLWILL
Sergeant Frank Colwill of the Australian Infantry Force; 2/4 Machine Gun Battalion. Son of Emanuel and Elizabeth Colwill of "Claremont" Hatherleigh. Born in Hatherleigh in 1895. Died 17 June 1945 aged 50.
A.W.GODFREY
160015 Lieutenant Alfred William Godfrey of the 7th Battallion, the Royal Tank Regiment, the Royal Armoured Corps. Son of Lt-Col Alfred John Godfrey Royal Arthillery and his wife Lucy.; brother of Lt. John Godfrey (see below). Born  in Hatherleigh in the September Quarter of 1919. Died 29 May 1942 aged 22.

285423 Lieutenant John Douglas Godfrey of "B" Squadron, the 7th Battalion, the Royal Tank Regiment, the Royal Armoured Corps.  Son of Lt-Col Alfred John Godfrey Royal Arthillery and his wife Lucy.; brother of Lt. Alfred William Godfrey (see above). Born in Reading, Berks in the September Quarter of 1923. Died 30 July 1944 aged 20. Awarded the Military Cross in July 1944.

Commander Geoffrey Walford of the Royal Naval Reserve, HMS Nile. Son of John and Emma West; husband of Flora West of Hatherleigh. Born in Hamstead, London in 1887. Died 19 December 1943 aged 56.
E.J.DURHAM
2657872 Corporal Edwin John Richard Durham of the 1st Battalion, the Ox and Bucks Light Infantry.  Son of Mr and Mrs John Durham; husband of Beatrice Durham of Hatherleigh. Born in Chipping Norton in the December Quarter of 1916. Died 6 July 1944 aged 27.
