MT/031750 Sergeant Herbert George Balsdon of the 614th Motor Transport Coy. Son of Johann and Hannah Balsdon; husband of Florence Balsdon. Born in Weare in 1876. Died 31 October 1918 aged 42.
F.BANBROOK
8065 Private Frederick William Banbrook of the 2nd Battalion, the Canadian Infantry, (The Eastern Ontario Regiment.) Son of John and Elizabeth Banbrook. Born in Weare Gifford  9 May 1889. Died 22 April 1915 aged 26.
A, BUSBY
G/70006 Lance Corporal Alfred Charles Busby of the 11th Battalion, the Royal West Surrey Regiment. Son of Jane Busby of 2 Hill Cottages and the late Harry Busby. Born in Lambeth, London in the June Quarter of 1899. Died 25 October 1918 aged 19.
R.FAIRHEAD
6824 Lance Corporal Reginald Fairhead  of the 1st Battalion, the Norfolkshire Regiment. Son of Elizabeth and the late William Fairhead. Born in 1885 in Westwell, Norfolk . Suffered a gunshot wound in the head 5 May 1915 - died the following day (6 May 1915) aged 30.
J.N.FREEMAN
Second Lieut. J. Noel Freeman of the 3rd Battalion; attached to the 7th Battalion, the Royal West Surrey Regiment. Son of the late Mrs Craven of Kensington. Born in 1896 at Cilwendig Park, Pembroke. Died 5 April 1918 aged 22. Also commemorated at Northam, Devon where his mother had formerly lived.
W.GOMER
164279 Lance Corporal William Gomer of the 126th Field Coy, the Royal Engineers. Son of Richard and Ellen Gomer, Born in Weare Gifford  7 March 1891. Died 22 March 1918 aged 27.
E.LANGMEAD
PLY15637 Private Ernest John Langmead of the Royal Marine Light Infantry, HMS Defence. Son of Ernest and Catherine Langmead. Born in St. Neots, Cornwall in the March Quarter of 1894 then moved to Weare Gifford. Died 31 May 1916 aged 22 at the Battle of Jutland.

Lieutenant Arthur William James MacReight of the 18th Battalion, the London Regiment. Son of Albert and Alma MacReight of Weare Gifford; brother of Lionel (see below). Born in Penzance in the March Quarter of  1892. Died 23 November 1915. Buried in Bournmouth Cemetery.
L. MacREIGHT
Lieutenant Lionel Albert MacReight of the 3rd Battalion, attached to  the 2nd Battalion, the South Lancashire Regiment. Son of Albert and Alma MacReight of Weare Gifford; brother of Arthur (see above). Born in Penzance in the June Quarter of 1896. Died 22 March 1918. No known grave.

Trooper George Henry Madge of the RND Hussars, the 16th Battalion of the Devonshire Regiment. Nephew of William and Susanna Trick. Born in Weare Gifford in 1897. Died 3 December 1917 aged 20.
F.PERRYMAN
Private Alfred Perryman ("Fred") of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Albert and Obena (sic) Perryman. Born in Bideford in October 1892. Died 25 September 1915 in the Battle of Loos aged 23.
