K6136 Stoker 1st Class  Henry (Harry) Milton of the Royal Navy, HMS Monmouth. Son of Henry and Mary Milton of Torre Hill, Yealmpton. Born in Truro 20 October 1890. Died 1 November 1914 aged 24.
H. PERCY
K22244 Stoker 2nd Class Harold Percy of the Royal Navy, HMS Monmouth.  Son of William and Jessie Percy. Born in Yealmpton 13 May 1897. Died 1 November 1914 aged 17.
P. A. B. MAUNDER
K6186 Leading Stoker Philip Andrew Blackmore Maunder of the Royal Navy, HMS Indefatigable. Son of Philip and Elizabeth Maunder of Ermington; husband of Gertrude Annie Maunder (née Honey). Born in Ivybridge 14 May 1888. Died at the Battle of Jutland 31 May 1916 aged 28.

20582 Private Charles Victor Triggs of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Bessie  and the late Charles Triggs of Yealmpton; husband of the late Janet Triggs.  Born in Kingston in 1887. Died 1 July 1916 aged 29.

21649 Private Richard Henry Hobbs of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of William and Mary Hobbs; husband of Louisa Hobbs. Born in Tavistock in 1889. Died 7 September 1916 aged 27.
C. A. TURNER
2119 Sapper Carl Arthur Turner of the 2nd/4th Fortress Coy, the Royal Engineers, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of James and Jane Turner. Born in Farnham, Surrey in 1883 but lived in Yealmpton.  Died 28 September 1916 at home aged 28. Buried in Yealmpton churchyard.

18151 Private William Henry Weeks of the 1st Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of William and Rosina Weekes. Born in Paignton in the December Quarter of 1889. Died 4 January 1917 aged  28..
J. W. TUCKER
23547 Private John Wallace Tucker of the 2nd Battalion the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Son of John and Susan Tucker of Yealmpton; brother of Frederick and John and Frederick (see below) Born in Farnham, Surrey in 1883 but grew up in Yealmpton. Died 28 September 1916 aged 33. Buried in Yealmpton churchyard .
W. H. HILL
645135 Private William Henry Hill of the 29th Battalion, the Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regiment). Believed to be the son of the late John and Matilda Hill and born in Harford, nr. Ivybridge in 1882 Died 8 May 1917 aged 35. . Emigrated to Canada in 1913.
C. WEST
TF 238150 Private Cecil West of the 18th battalion, the Middlesex Regiment ( the Duke of Cambridge's Own); formerly 1415 of the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Richard and Matilda West; brother of Edgar (see below). Born in Brixton in 1897. Died 4 October 1917 aged 20.
S. J. FURZELAND

11994 Stoker 1st Class Sidney John Furzeland of the Royal Navy, HMS Marmion. Son of Samuel and Harriet Furzeland; brother of Alfred (see above). Born in Yealmpton 21 July 1893. Died 21 October 1917  aged 22.

The destroyer HMS Marmion (out of Plymouth) collided with HMS Tirade, and sank in atrocious weather off Lerwick, Shetlands with the loss of all hands.  The enemy were not involved.

F. TUCKER
203230 Private Frederick Tucker of the 9th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of John and Susan Tucker of Yealmbridge; brother of John (see  below) . Born in Yealmpton in 1897. Died 24 October 1917 aged 20.
J. A. MARSHALL
K 24562 Stoker 1st Class of the Royal Navy, HMS Kate. Son of J. A. Marchall. Born in Poplar, London, 18 June 1894. Died 27 March 1918 aged 24.
G. E. LASCELLES
2nd Lieutenant Guy Ernest Lascelles of the Rifle Brigade.  Son of Ernest and Flora Lascelles of Yealmpton. Born in Datchett, Bucks in the March Quarter of 1899. Died 24 March 1918 aged 19.
W. C. TUCKER
68965 Private William Crispin Tucker of the 7th Battalion the Queen's Regiment ( the West Surrey Regiment). Son of John and Susan Tucker of Yealmpton; brother of Frederick and John (see above) Born in Farnham, Surrey in 1883 but grew up in Yealmpton. Died 28 September 1916 aged 33. Buried in Yealmpton churchyard .
E. WEST
78122 Private Edgar West of the 9th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Richard and Matilda West; brother of Cecil  (see above) Born in Brixton in 1899. Died 23 October 1918 aged 19.
R. FOSTER
29076 Private Redvers Foster of the Hampshire Regiment. Son of Ernest and Catherine Foster of Market Street, Yealmpton. Born in Yealmpton in 1900. Died 25 October 1919 aged 18.
A. E. FURZELAND
310933 Petty officer Stoker Alfred Edward Furzeland of the Royal Navy, HMS Vivid ( shore base). Son of Samuel and Harriet Furzeland; brother of Sidney (see below). Born in Yealmpton  4 October 1887. Died of illness 4 November 1918 aged 31. Buried in Yealmpton churchyard.
